This Privacy Policy explains what information CaliVolt Electrical collects when you visit our website or request a quote, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have — including the rights of California residents. Please read the SMS / Text Messaging Program section below if you ask us to text you.
Who we are
CaliVolt Electrical ("CaliVolt," "we," "us," or "our") is a California C10-licensed electrical contractor (CSLB #1157170) serving Fresno, Clovis, and the surrounding Central Valley. We provide residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work, panel upgrades, EV charger installation, solar and battery systems, and solar panel cleaning.
Our business address is 2732 Morris Ave, Clovis, CA 93611. You can reach us about this policy at ronald@aztecinc.consulting or (559) 919-2288.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us through our forms. When you request a quote or submit a bid request, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your project. Our solar quote form may also let you upload a copy of your utility bill so we can size a system accurately.
- Files you choose to upload. If you attach a utility bill or photos, we store those files with your submission so our team can prepare your estimate.
- Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our analytics provider collect standard usage data through cookies and similar technologies — pages visited, referring source, device and browser type, and approximate location. Some pages load interactive maps that may collect technical data needed to display them.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote and bid requests and prepare estimates.
- To schedule site visits, consultations, and appointments.
- To communicate with you about your project — by phone, email, and, where you have given consent, text message.
- To provide, perform, and support the services you request.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, including understanding which pages and campaigns bring in quote requests.
- To keep records and comply with our legal, tax, and licensing obligations.
SMS / Text Messaging Program
We offer text messaging so we can reach you quickly about your quote or project. The following terms govern that program:
- Opt-in is required. We only send you text messages if you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms and provide your mobile number. We do not text you unless you opt in.
- What we text you about. Messages relate to your quote request, appointment scheduling, and follow-up about your project.
- Message frequency varies depending on your conversation with us.
- Message and data rates may apply.Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive.
- Opt out any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (559) 919-2288 or ronald@aztecinc.consulting.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts in order to buy anything from us or to receive a quote.
- Your mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. We use a messaging provider (Twilio) solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only as needed to perform their function for us:
- Supabase — hosts the database where your form submissions and uploads are stored.
- Twilio — delivers text messages when you have opted in.
- Google — Analytics (usage measurement), Maps (interactive maps on some pages), and Ads (advertising measurement).
- Mapbox — powers interactive maps on some pages.
- Vercel — hosts and serves this website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of CaliVolt, our customers, or others. As noted above, mobile opt-in and SMS consent data are never shared with third parties for marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. These set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may behave differently. Where required, we honor recognized browser opt-out and privacy-control signals.
Data retention
We keep quote and customer information for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide services, and meet our legal, tax, and licensing obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Analytics data is retained according to our provider's standard retention period. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see your rights below.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls with our hosting and database providers — to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
- Delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
